Our Story
About KEFOFA
Football is still the most popular sport in Kenya. The games’ popularity cuts across all walks of life; ethnic groups, religion and class. Both national and international games are greatly followed by the fans, either on the pitches or via media. The fans also follow matches pitting foreign teams especially during World Cup tournaments and other popular foreign leagues. They (fans) are known to passionately support the national team when it is doing well as manifested in huge crowds. Notably, when the national team is doing well, crowds of about 60,000 attend the matches, with millions more watching on Television. The top national domestic competition is the Kenya Premier League, run and managed by the constituent 18 clubs. The second tier league is the National Super League. Kenya has a domestic cup competition whose name changes every few years depending on who the sponsor or the patron is. Played on a knockout basis, the tournament draws teams from all divisions and from all over the country. It is referred to as FKF SportPesa Cup in 2018.

Kenya Football Fans Federation (KEFOFA) is a body registered to represent-at all levels, events and competitions, football fans supporting various clubs in the country as well as the national teams; Harambee Stars, Harambee Starlets plus their juniors (U17s, U20s and U23s).
Our Mission
Kenya Football Fans Federation (KEFOFA) is a non-profit, members’ organization that has been created to build long term success for Kenyan football by enabling the involvement of thousands of ordinary Kenyan football fans in its development. We position ourselves as the voice of the majority football stakeholders (fans) in the country in order to form a rightful force in the game’s general management

Our Vision
Kenyans from across the divide have been known for great passion for football. In the 1970’s, fans used to troop into the fields in masses which essentially stimulated tempos of the game. Kenya Football Fans Federation (KEFOFA) anticipates that, with the right support on board, fans will fill our new stadiums again for the betterment of our beautiful game. Moreover, our eye is glued on the improvement of the fans’ welfare even as we fight for the rights of football players and all stakeholders as well.
